When I was in the market for new carpet, I went to Floor Source in Dickinson, TX. I specifically said I needed carpet that was pet-friendly AND durable. The salesperson told me about Mohawk's Rhino Challenge video on YouTube, where later a twelvemonth of a rhino living on their SmartStrand carpet, after being professionally cleaned it looked as proficient every bit new. Between that video and the salesperson telling me that fifty-fifty though the rug might look disordered and flat subsequently a while, later a professional cleaning the carpet would "bounciness back" to looking new once more. I was also "sold" by Mohawk's carpeting guarantee. It wasn't even ix months subsequently the carpeting was installed that it started matting down and looking like it was virtually 10 years old.

I remembered the Rhinoceros Challenge video and the claims that the salesperson made so I wasn't worried about the carpet--until AFTER I had the carpeting professionally cleaned (by a company recommended past Flooring Source), and the carpet DID NOT "bounciness dorsum" at all. Information technology withal looked matted downward and apartment in the college traffic areas. Listen you lot, I live alone and practise not wearable shoes on the carpet, and I vacuum the carpet at least once a week.

I immediately contacted Flooring Source and asked my salesperson to come up look at the carpet. She did and agreed with me that the carpet was not performing equally it should be for its age. The salesperson told me not to worry--that I had done everything right (including ownership the recommended padding). So the retailer filed a claim with Mohawk. An "contained" inspector (hired and paid for past Mohawk) came out to expect at the carpet, and he did a poor examination of the rug. All he cared most discussing was the stains on the carpet that did not come up out after existence professionally cleaned. I kept trying to get his attending to the matting problem, but he seemed disinterested in what I was saying. He did not even get downward to do a close inspection, nor did he do any tests on the carpet (except to prove that the professional cleaner did not practise a good job of removing stains).

Since I was nevertheless making payments on the rug, I filed a dispute with Synchrony Bank and then I would not have to brand any more payments until my merits was resolved. Afterward virtually six months after I complained to Flooring Source about the rug looking quondam already, I was told that Mohawk and Flooring Source were denying my merits. I was shocked! What good is a warranty if the consumer can't depend on it when at that place is a valid claim?

I also contacted Mohawk'due south consumer affairs department, and I was told how I could hire a Master Inspector myself and have the study sent to Mohawk. Then I called a different inspector than the one Mohawk sent, merely I was told it would cost $500!!! Merely after a brief conversation with this other inspector, I found out that the inspector sent out by Mohawk did NOT do a thorough job. I am a single senior citizen living off social security, so I could not afford to pay $500 for another inspection. And I cannot afford to purchase new carpet, AGAIN, when I am still paying for this junior carpet.

BUYER BEWARE!!! You might get lucky if you buy Mohawk carpet and get a skilful lot of carpet. But look at all of the negative reviews of Mohawk'southward carpet--you merely might go an inferior lot of rug, likewise. Do y'all really want to take a hazard on such an expensive investment in your home? If you are willing to have that gamble and you lose, forget about Mohawk'south warranty helping you out. Their warranty is just a sales tool. And DON'T get fooled past their false advertising like I did! Shame on Flooring Source AND Mohawk Floor!!!

Mohawk doesn't stand backside any of their products, Laura the customer service rep is an AI or something that tries to brand it wait like they care. Guess what? Go read the review and stay abroad from Mohawk. My hardwood floors were installed right earlier buying my house in late 2017. This is my first home that I worked so hard for, I soon learned that these floors show scratches similar no other. My mother and sister both accept engineered hardwood and neither looks as crummy every bit mine and both are older. Information technology has nothing to do with how it is cared for, it's merely junk. They have bigger dogs, take less care of theirs and they both wait tens time better.

I am a dr. and finally finished school, then worked to pay down some loans, first house and can't even have people over considering the floors are an embarrassment. They are scratched, peeling, bubbles, and just a plain eye sore. Seeing that I'm however paying loans and working for the State I guess I'chiliad stuck with junk and Laura who obviously has no integrity, otherwise she would have left Mohawk past now. Laura you are non doing anyone a service as at that place are thousands of reviews that back my claim and very few (probably simulated) that support Mohawk. Mohawk doesn't stand up behind their warranties and blames the customer for having an inferior product. 15 year warranty. Lol. They would be good to get a calendar month out of this junk.

We had our dream home build for us and moved in July 2021 (7 months agone). We had Mohawk Laminate Revwood installed. We accept had laminate before and NEVER experienced anything like this and the worst part is that Mohawk is ignoring the states and denied any responsibility without coming out to look at it. We have over 2000 square feet of our abode with this product and it is all scratched upwardly. Nosotros are not abusive any. It started right away and has progressively gotten worse. Everything scratches the floor! We have 1 dog (a putter) and no children. Just my husband and myself live at that place. I sent pictures to Mohawk and they notwithstanding won't take whatsoever responsibility. It volition toll us thousand of dollars to replace this floor but we have no choice. I will never purchase whatsoever products from them, not because of the trouble merely the way they didn't handle it.

My husband and I purchased some carpeting and flooring from West Valley Floor in Calgary, Alberta Canada in 2019 and once more in 2021. We have had ongoing problems with the most recent purchase. We purchased rug to match the carpet we purchased in 2019 in the basement for our upper floors and stairs. The installation appointment was scheduled for Nov. 16, 2021. We were trying to renovate the entire upper flooring in time for Christmas including painting, new baseboards, trims and doors. On Nov. 16th, Ryan contacted my married man to say that after inspecting the carpet, information technology was non to spec and looked like the waffle pattern had been put on crooked. He offered to install it anyway just said we may non be happy with the result.

Obviously we didn't want a deficient product installed, so nosotros told him to re order the product. Ryan said we would likely become information technology done on the first week of December, which was bad enough considering the time crunch, just later that week he let us know the carpet had to be manufactured even so and then shipped, and then we would not get it installed until Dec. 21. We were very upset about this, apparently this put united states in a huge demark and we were living in shambles after painting, removing all the baseboards, pulling up carpeting to pigment railings and nosotros moved most of the article of furniture to our main floor to help out the installers and at present we would accept to alive like that for weeks.

We told them we expected compensation for this inconvenience, Ryan said it was not West Valley's fault or problem and the owner Jon sent me a lovely email explaining that inconvenience is "a function of life" and that he had to live with it (he even gave me examples) and so should I. Nosotros pushed them to become compensation from the manufacturer and they got us a $300 credit on our invoice, which they idea we should be grateful for (the invoice was over $10,000). This was in no way satisfactory to u.s. but Due west Valley was unwilling to pursue the claim further.

Nosotros besides purchased the same carpet for our basement in 2019, and we are now having bug with the carpeting looking frayed and worn on the stairs. When we purchased the carpeting from Luis at West Valley Flooring, I specifically asked to buy a carpet that would non expect worn subsequently only a few years, particularly in high traffic areas, I mentioned the "fuzzy" look that carpets tin can get later on a while. Luis told me that well-nigh manufacturers will not warranty stairs but that Mohawk would if we purchased the recommended pad. We now have the fuzzy look on some of our stairs and nosotros wanted West Valley to take a expect at information technology just they said information technology is not covered, they specified only "annoying vesture" was covered and not "texture retentivity".

This was not specified to us when we purchased the product and now we are stuck with a "premium" product that looks worn subsequently 24 months, which is completely unacceptable. Luis is no longer with West Valley Flooring and the current sales team is unwilling to uphold what their previous employee led usa to believe. We believe these are dishonest sales tactics and volition no longer exist dealing with this company moving forward for any new products simply we have no choice but to deal with them on our existing product. We have cleaned the carpets with a professional person cleaner twice to go on up our warranty and nosotros chose Mohawk specifically because we were told "they stand behind their products''.

We accept had nil simply frustrations with your company and West Valley and I am prepared to write a very detailed review of our experiences for Consumer Reports likewise equally all dealers who sell your product in Calgary. We purchased these products in good faith and we expected to be treated every bit valued customers in return. Practice non purchase from West Valley, they prevarication and have horrible client service and delight don't purchase Mohawk products, they are not the premium product you think you lot're getting and their warranty isn't worth the newspaper information technology'due south printed on.

Went in Home Depot in 2002 to purchase Pergo laminate floor. Had 6 boxes loaded in cart when I was approached by a flooring employee who enquire me who was installing my floor. I replied to him a neighbor. He said, "If you lot let us install the flooring by a certified flooring technician you will have a lifetime warranty." Of course I savage for it. About iv or v years agone the floor started to buckle upwardly in several areas. I could not do annihilation about information technology as I was unable to discover paperwork. In June I had a new credenza delivered and needed to clean out drawers. I was quite excited to find registration as well as receipt. I immediately chosen Mohawk floor and gave them various information. The data was confirmed past Mohawk saying that the floor was covered by manufacturer'southward warranty, but I would need to go to store to pursue claim. The store was Habitation Depot in Norfolk, Virginia on Military machine Highway.

For 2 months, I visited the store several times and spent hours on the phone belongings on but to be transferred to numerous people that would pass me on to someone else. I feel if I was mislead on by both Mohawk and Habitation Depot. The bottom line they denied the merits. It buckled upwards through no fault of my own. Always going to take someone call me dorsum which doesn't happen. Was offered a Home Depot menu of 250 from flooring manager which I am grateful for but all of this bedevilment over a 1300 dollar claim which will probably be fashion more to have the floor replaced. The flooring gas been well maintained and cared for.

My message to anybody is where is accountability anymore. Why would you send a letter proverb information technology is covered by manufacturer'southward warranty and then deny claim. Why not deny information technology in the first instead of putting a 76 year old through 2 months of stress. I judge with limited staff due to Covid 19, staff can care for customers how they like with no accountability. Was because laminate flooring for the rest of my house, just certainly no consideration for MOHAWK FLOORING. YOU WOULD Retrieve THEY WOULD HAVE SENT SOMEONE OUT TO Inspect THE SITUATION.

Purchased the Mohawk Life Proof carpet at a toll of $4880.00 for my living room and 2 bedrooms through Home Depot in Nov. 2020. In April 2021 pickup up couch for cleaning and in that location is a area under the couch where the top threads are unraveling. Contacted Home Depot, they opened up a merits with "The Mill" (Mohawk) start step, take and send pictures (washed!), become carpet professionally cleaned (done!), they send a professional inspector (they Practice Non transport this report to the consumer). Dwelling Depot and "The Mill" (Mohawk) merits it is "SITE RELATED" what does that mean?!

Accept been emailing, calling and faxing since April. Domicile Depot is at present putting this on the Mohawk and has stopped responding. My hope is that customers do their homework and read reviews. Don't be fooled by the 25 twelvemonth texture and retention warranty, I had only had this carpeting for 5 months. Shame on you Dwelling Depot and Mohawk.

New Mohawk rug was put into my home 2/2018 after we had a wildfire that burnt downwards many of the homes on our street. Nosotros suffered only smoke damage. I live in a pristine abode, with only my husband and no pets. The carpet we chose was a Sisal Impression 172. We immediately started to testify pilling in areas of our home which isn't even walked on. Stains couldn't be removed and we abided by their asking that every 18 months we get the carpeting professionally cleaned. When they sent out their inspector he was blown away by our home and couldn't believe the staining and inability by professionals to get it out. Then Mohawk denied our warranty claim. I was willing to get Mohawk once again in other rooms if they worked with us but nosotros will never again buy Mohawk (an American visitor) and will tell my friends, many of whom are gear up to get flooring, to use this visitor.

After reviewing hundreds of samples, my pattern squad decided on the Solidtech Plus Luxury Vinyl Flooring (Franklin/De Soto) in Bangor colour. We ordered 3 samples of this flooring to make certain nosotros accounted for potential variations (dissimilar sources). All were infrequent and distributed to our designers and furniture makers to lucifer. The floor arrived a month later and was labeled to friction match our order, but the flooring inside was a different color. Our projection manager brought a couple pieces to a flooring exhibit and found the color matched some other Mohawk product and not the i we ordered. Our rep initially could see the difference, but is now pretending like they are a perfect lucifer. I could have got a bad color from Home Depot for $2 a square foot.

We purchased carpet nearly a year ago and it's already started to unpill and it looks similar a shaggy moisture canis familiaris. Normal wear and tear from 2 senior citizens— carpeting should be able to last longer than a yr. They refused to honor their "25-year quality warranty." Will never buy Mohawk again

I congenital my house and bought Mohawk 32534-94 wood flooring that started to separate and break apart within a month of being installed past an employee of the floor company I bought it from. Over 2 years of excuses and get put off past my the local store I contacted Mohawk. This was the same, I would get a claim number and when I chosen it would get transferred to a hood line that somewhen would hang up on me. Very disappointed and have to supercede all of information technology. Warranties are as only good as the company and this is a very poor one.
